Describe the bug

A clear and concise description of what the bug is, and the conditions when it occurs.

How to reproduce

Prod storybook code examples have space format issues as well as color background issues in the latest next base release.
See the collapsable demo code examples at https://clarity.design/storybook/core

Expected behavior

Background color should be visible on code demos and tab spacing preserved.
