This is an interesting point. I've been eyeing (and testing) void and zed, zeds commit stats are a bit more inspiring.
In general, a fresh IDE (in rust!) is more inspiring than a vscode fork.
That being said, I was actually able to get work done with void - the zed Gemini integration errored out on me. But with active development, things should get better.

Thanks @andrewpareles, that's reassuring! Indexing would be great too though, cursor seems to know much more about the code base although .voidrules is pretty awesome too.

Seems better to use vscode with roocode now that it's got internal llm of its own.
