I need to know wether this Library depends on RT_PREEMPT.
Couldn't find anything in the docs.

It does not... it uses standard interfaces exported by the kernel to userspace, e.g. /dev/spidev*, /dev/i2c-*, /dev/mem, sysfs, etc.
