Laravel npm run production fails

With Laravel 5.4 & Laravel mix 1.0 the npm run production fails. npm run dev works fine.
Error:
/js/app.js from UglifyJs
Unexpected token: punc ()) [./node_modules/vue-bulma-datepicker/src/BasicInput.js:9,0][/js/app.js:49307,16]

Same here. Also, duplicate of #45
