Anyone tried to adapt this script to handle background images?

I'm not sure this is feasible, you mean trying to adapt it to handle css background-images?

So that not to use another plugin for background images It would be perfect if this feature was implemented in Lazyload. As all-in-one plugin is supposed to work much better than a few plugins providing the same functions.

So it seems feasible by adding display:none to divs you want to lazyload and then using a custom callback to handle it. This is feasible but you have to display:none divs.
