The Website Redesign is bad in general

Describe the issue
The website redesign, to put it bluntly, sucks. It embodies all the concepts of flat design, including it's soulless corporate nature, it's unusability and general aesthetic sterilization. As a society, we should be heading away from this style instead of towards it, and the fact that it still happens is honestly awful.
Recommended solution
Ideally, revert the website to it's previous form. If that really can't happen, then simply give us the option to view the old design. And if that can't happen, change the current design to resemble modern corporate aesthetic much less. One good starting point is the artstyle present on the home page.
Additional context
While I can't say for certain that other people will agree, I can point to an article that analyzes it's problem from a scientific perspective.
