When using jcf with jquery 3, the select list has an unneeded horizontal scroll that doesn't show up when using jquery 1.11.2.
The problem shows up on some screen sizes not all.

to reproduce the bug:

index-bug.html uses jquery 3.2.1, the bug is visible on a screen width of 460px for example.
