Running tfswitch returns the error "user: unknown userid"

Hi everyone.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When I try to use tfswitch I get the following error:

$ tfswitch
2022/08/23 11:23:17 user: unknown userid XXXXXXXX

Describe the solution you'd like
Be able to use tfswitch on my machine ;)

In my research I have found these issues that seem to be related:
golang/go#38599
golang/go#36246

Additional context
I am using a "company computer", running Ubuntu 22.04, my account is linked to LDAP.
My username doesn't appear in the /etc/passwd.
But it can be found in USER environment variable.

I will close the issue. It took me a long time to notice the package manager(nix-env) in fact installs a old (v0.12) version of tfswitch.
Installing with brew solves it.
Sorry about the injustified issue.
