Slideshow text styling, positioning, etc

We need to provide default styles for the slideshow functionality in page builder. Currently, text is white and positioned strangely. Text seems to disappear in some cases on mobile completely.
I agree. I just had the Grad School ask me what we could do about it a couple days ago.
If we let all the text disappear for better responsiveness or aesthetics, I would advocate at least keeping a button or some small snippet of text available (i.e., a headline followed by a 'read more' button with a hyperlink attached).
Agreed, I would definitely like to keep the text if possible. We could even resize and display above or below the image if things get to small.
Screenshots anyone. I'll try to get in there and take a look, but that might help in the meantime.

It was the one that spurred her question to me about any available styling.
