Spotify connector not scrobbling

Describe the bug
When listening to music on Spotify, the extension simply doesn't scrobble the song. It shows as a "now playing" notification and on the last.fm website as it's playing, but it never actually logs. The "note" icon also never turns into the "checkmark" icon as a sign of completion.

How to reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to any track on Spotify.
  2. Play track.
  3. Wait for expected scrobble timing
  4. See error
