Document the automatic text transformations that Madoka does

It seems that memo fields automatically get the first letter capitalized, and a period added at the end. For example, {{memo an editable combo box}} in ui.combo.md => An editable combo box.
Is this accurate? {{memo A hierarchical structure of nodes.}} in ui.tree.md doesn't get an extra period at the end. Is this because Madoka is smart enough, or is something else going on?
Should we bother to capitalize and punctuate memo fields?
