Hi,

Is there any way to get the active setting or color of the backlight?

Nevermid, there is a sysfs interface for the tuxedo-keyboard driver.

@syslino exactly, that is what tuxedo-backlight-control uses under the hood :)

Sorry for not looking properly. Awesome, being able to get the set color code is a big plus!

I'm using the lights as a battery indicator, now I can switch back to the previous color when the battery is properly filled again.

Using it to indicate the mode vim is in is also on my agenda.

Again, thank you for providing this, finally a pkg that just works.
