Developer mode is up and running on the TV.

Wasn't working with version 1.99.05 either, so it doesn't have anything to do with latest update of webOS Manager. On the other hand, I recently updated the software of the TV.

Today I ended up been logged out of the developer mode, and when I tried to reinstall the apps, i faced this issue.

My apologies for the inconvenience—this was entirely my mistake. A few days ago, while setting up some local servers, I deleted a suspicious key I found in ~/.ssh.

Just a short while ago, while debugging the install command from https://github.com/webosbrew/ares-cli-rs to figure out the cause of this error, I realized the app is loading a private key whose name momentarily resonated in my head. Same key I deleted few days ago.

Once again, sorry for the false alarm.

Same happened to me. Luckily I only moved it in a different folder, so it was easy to restore.

@DevTeam: Maybe it would make sense to add a prefix like webos-dev_{SomeRandomString}

For anyone else who gets this error or the "Private key file not found: ..." error:
Search for files in your ~/.ssh folder that have a random String like this "i18QAVHxiQ" as file name, and restore them if you can (for example if they are still in your Recycle Bin). Otherwise you probably have to recreate the connection to your TV to automatically generate a new private key.
