Not sure how you'd like to handle this mess..... Frankly I'd be removing links from my site to Audacity, after the shady things they've been up to. At the least, Tenacity should probably be there (as it's the fork that has clearly taken over) and if you wanted to you could list some or all of the less significant forks...?

I dunno, what a mess.

Thanks, if its open source, it's fine to be on the list. As far as I know the Audacity controversy was that they were including telematics in their builds.

In the interest of being unbiased I'll let you do your own reading into it if you like, but the telemetry thing was more about how they did it (it was opt-out, and the option to opt out was obscured, it used google, etc) and then there's the CLA (forcing contributors to sign over their work so that it could be used in future commercial ventures) and the privacy policy (which included fun stuff like banning under 13's).
