Hey! As title says unfortunately I don't have time to keep supporting this library. I'm glad you found some value in it – after all I built it all for you, I'm not using it actively in any of my projects.
The implementation is suboptimal and I wouldn't recommend to use this in business critical feature.
I'd be more than happy to have a call with you, if you would like to take it over. I have some strategy in mind and I can share context.
In other case... I might pick this during some sabbatical in future and completely rewrite it just for fun. Who knows tho.
I will try to merge any PR (ready to be merge) you might send.

Hi! Any chance this project will be updated to support React's functional components in the future? I was looking for an autocomplete library for my project and came across this one, and would love to use it in my project but unfortunately it's not supporting v18+ :(
