The licence file has never been updated:
Copyright (c) 2014 Lokku ltd ignacio@lokku.com, Copyright (c) 2016 what3words Ltd
May be time to think about it 😄

@tsamaya I read that as what3words having taken over the copyright taken over from Lokku, which is fine.
Lokku's side businesses ownership, which included w3w shares and geocoding projects, got transferred to OpenCageData Ltd (owned by OpenCage GmbH). We/opencage transferred the repository and copyright to what3words.
The email address isn't necessary, Lokku's new owners switched of the mail server years ago.
