Opened this issue · 8 comments

I recieved this comment that this input isnt working from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/wikimedia-input-tools/reviews/1909253/

I have tested this & can confirm that.

  1. It seems issue with the add-on as I can use zh-pinyin-transliteration layout in Commons also.
  2. Can you also try non-private browsing mode?

Can you also try non-private browsing mode?

@kartikm does not work in non-private mode on commons.wikimedia.org

zh-pinyin-transliteration is for zh-latn input with strokes (by entering 1, 2, 3, 4), not for zh-hans, zh-hant, etc.

Works for me.

Do not confuse zh-pinyin-transliteration with a Pinyin IME, which this project doesn't have yet. See also #60, #755.

I would suggest renaming the input method from 拼音符号输入法 to 拼音声调输入法 to avoid misunderstanding (Which I have actually misunderstood for years until seeing this issue)

也就是说只能输入带声调的韵母字符,比如安装键位u和键位4(四声)可以得到字符ù
