Nightvision issue with TrueDarkness mod

Hi, I really enjoy playing the mod but I came upon an issue with this and the TrueDarkness mod, where the vampire nightvision won't work. The nightvision potion works just fine. It's really annoying since you can just go out at night as a vamp and you can't see anything. I play on a server too, so I can't delete the true darkness mod.
Hope to get a fix soon.
