Font is resized by switching to Insert Mode

In Normal Mode, I resize the font of terminal smaller or bigger (ctrl_-/+) then go to Insert Mode, the hold terminal is changed back to standard font size

Btw, I'm using Ubuntu and it happens on both vim 7.4 and 8.0

I am having the same issue; if a KDE konsole window's font has been resized (either made smaller or bigger), when entering insert mode, vim acts strange.

If the font has been made smaller, when vim enters insert mode, it resizes to the original number of columns and rows (from before the font resize). When made bigger, vim has some rendering issues, wrapping my airline etc... i.e it seems to be trying to resize itself beyond the terminal's columns and rows.

I'm on macOS and this issue affects another platform so I don't have an easy way to repro this, but I'd be happy to accept a PR from a user who wants to do some investigation and come up with a fix.
