Handling of {D}, {d}, {H}, {h}, {T}, {t} in Bibtex "title" field

In Bibtex words or letters can be wrapped in curly braces to force a specific capitalization (see here). However, importing the following Bibtex entry into teachPress version 8.0.2

  title = {{A}{B}{C}{D}{E}{F}{G}{H}{I}{J}{K}{L}{M}{N}{O}{P}{Q}{R}{S}{T}{U}{V}{W}{X}{Y}{Z}{a}{b}{c}{d}{e}{f}{g}{h}{i}{j}{k}{l}{m}{n}{o}{p}{q}{r}{s}{t}{u}{v}{w}{x}{y}{z}},
}

results in this title:

For upper-/lowercase D, H, and T this is not the expected result.
