To ensure a smooth and fair experience for all participants, please carefully read and adhere to the following rules and guidelines. These instructions aim to provide clarity and structure for the project period, from team formation to submission and final judgment. - To participate in the project, you must be successfully enrolled in the Womanium Quantum+AI 2024 program.

- All nationalities, genders, and age groups are welcome to participate in the projects (July 5, 2024 to August 9, 2024).
- Watch the project introduction video here to understand the entire participation process.
- Review all available projects listed below.
- Visit each project's repository for a detailed explanation. Each project has unique deliverables and guidelines for successful submission; please read these carefully before selecting a project.
- If you are just getting started with Quantum and AI, it is recommended to browse through the Womanium Quantum+AI lectures available on YouTube: https://womanium.org/Quantum/YouTube
- Network with fellow participants during the Womanium Team-building events over Zoom and on Discord ("team-formation-for projects" channel) to find your perfect team.
- Each project has a unique maximum team size; please read carefully before forming your teams.
- Finalize your team and select the project you want to work on by July 5, 2024.
- Register your team and project on the Canvas Module "8. Womanium Quantum+AI Projects".
- Work on your team repository from July 5, 2024 to August 9, 2024.
- Fork/duplicate the repository of your selected project. This forked/duplicated repository will be referred to as your "Team repository".
- Ensure your repository is public at the time of submission for judging purposes. All work inside your team repository will be considered the final submission for the project.
- Submit your team repository by August 9, 2024, 23:59pm US ET.
- Add the GitHub submission link (public link of your Team repository) on Canvas.
- Do not modify your team repository after August 9. Any modifications after the submission deadline may lead to disqualification.
- Project finalists will be announced on August 12, 2024.
- Finalists present 5min. project deck on Demo Day - August 15, 2024.
- Winners will be announced on Demo Day, August 15, 2024.
Womanium Grants:
Everyone is eligible for Womanium grants (max. 1 grant/team):
- 3 grants towards Technical Merit (1 grant per project)
- 1 for Best Presentation (across all projects)
- 1 for Startup Potential (across all projects)
With a total grant pool of $5000, the Womanium grants may be used for:
- Attending and presenting at a Science/ Technical conference.
- Attending and presenting at a Leadership conference.
- Organizing a local Quantum workshop (>50 participants).
- Setting up a Quantum Chapter (>50 participants).
- Creating a YouTube Quantum series (>10 videos).
- Requesting Quantum Hardware credits to help you go from project to paper.

Womanium QSL Fellowships:
The best participants from the projects will be shortlisted for Womanium QSL fellowships with Industry partners - Naval Nuclear Lab, Fraunhofer ITWM, and Classiq.
- Participants are shortlisted for QSL fellowships on the basis of successful project submission, Technical Merit, Novelty, Communication and Presentation Skills.
- Eligible participants selected for QSL start on paid project fellowships (3-6 month, part-time) from September 1, 2024.

(Team Size = max.4)__Participants will apply classical and quantum simulation techniques to model climate and environmental scenarios, bridging theoretical quantum chemistry with real-world applications.

(Team Size = max.2)__Participants will explore hybrid quantum computing to accelerate data analysis, with training on QML, hybrid models, QNNs - focusing on optimizing production processes by identifying improvement measures early.

(Team Size = max.3)__Participants will delve into quantum algorithms offering exponential advantages, such as Shor’s algorithm, HHL and Hamiltonian simulation, and learn their practical applications through state-of-the-art implementations.
- Maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct throughout the project period. Any form of cheating, harassment, or misconduct will lead to disqualification and potential banning from future events. Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions with fellow participants and the Womanium team.
- Respect intellectual property rights. Ensure that all work submitted is original and properly referenced if using third-party resources. Plagiarism or the use of unauthorized material will result in immediate disqualification.
- Adhere strictly to all deadlines. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- The projects are suggested and supported by Womanium's partner organizations. However, participation in these projects does not imply any association with Womanium's partner organizations.
- Participation in this project in no way guarantees any grants or fellowships from Womanium or partner organizations. Grants and fellowships will be granted only to the best participants, as determined solely by Womanium.
