Brew attempts to kill Unity 5 during uninstall of 2018

Uninstalling a unity from unityversions tries to close the wrong version of unity:
==> Uninstalling Cask unity@2018.3.2f1
==> Quitting application 'com.unity3d.UnityEditor5.x'...
Warning: Application 'com.unity3d.UnityEditor5.x' did not quit.
It seems to always kill Unity 5, regardless of what unity I am removing (I do not have Unity 5 installed). Perhaps that's because it's just a generic unity kill task? If it is, it didn't successfully kill my unity 2018 (which wasn't the version I was uninstalling).
