Thanks @cc32d9 I think we should also change the version string and tag to wax-2.0.5-1.0.0 in keeping with our old versioning scheme where the first triple corresponds to the EOSIO version and the 2nd triple allows us to track sub versions that are WAX specific. Any objections?

of course I tried to keep the old naming scheme, but eosio-2.0 introduces a different way of forming the version string, so this way is the least damaging and most compatible with the upstream.

besides, the guilds already got used to the new version format :)

Ah ok I see what you mean about the new version string construction. Not a big concern. In fact this might be a bit easier to manage.
