[QA] Cannot send asset through WalletConnect Desktop app - Torus

Describe the current behavior in detail

Checked on https://wormhole-connect-mainnet.netlify.app/ [Mainnet] with macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 and Google Chrome Version 125.0.6422.142 (Official Build) (arm64).

Steps:

  1. Select Avalanche as source chain
  2. Click on "Connect wallet" > "WalletConnet"
  3. Select "Torus" wallet in Desktop section
  4. Connect Torus wallet with QR link
  5. Return to wormhole-connect
  6. Prepare to send 0.0001 AVAX from Avalanche to Fantom
  7. Click on "Approve and proceed with transaction" button
  8. Click on "Confirm" button on Torus wallet notification to chain network

Actual result: Transaction fails.
Expected result: Transaction proceeds without errors.
