For some reason this font awesome free icon will not appear when used:

Just needed to upgrade font awesome used to a Font Awesome Account + Kit code:
<script src="https://kit.fontawesome.com/EXAMPLE.js" crossorigin="anonymous"></script>`
in default.html generated for me. not sure if this was the best way but it seems to work.
