Automatic Image rotation

I'm trying to use this theme but some of the images keep getting auto rotated. That doesn't suit my case and I don't want any of the images to rotate! I've tried rotating the images and cropping and then refreshing the page etc, however no matter what I do, some Images always seem to rotate... what is the logic behind the image rotation and is there a way to disable it?

So the issue with the actual rotation of the image I windows. When you're using windows, windows explorer and the default photo viewer, rotating the picture doesn't actually change the orientation properties of the actual image in the image's metadata. The workaround is to instead open the picture in paint, rotate it to your desired orientation and save. That does the trick. I'm sure there are code level ways of doing it too, but this seemed to be the simplest.
