I was trying to sponsor this very neat project but got prompted with an error

I think the funding.yml is missing a few required fields:

github: [octocat, surftocat]
patreon: octocat
tidelift: npm/octo-package
custom: ["https://www.paypal.me/octocat", octocat.com]
