when i join my friends server, it says "failed to login: invalid session (try restarting the game and the launcher)" i've tried many things like restarting my pc, connecting a microsoft account to my account but it says "login failed unable to reach authentication servers check your connection and try again", re downloading java 8 runtime, and even turning of my firewall.

Have you tried relogging through the launcher? Are you using the official (legitimate) Technic launcher?

Authentication servers from Mojang are currently having issues: https://minecraftstatus.net
Should be fixed soon-ish from their side.
