Use Linux Mint 17 and openjdk 1.7.0_79.
The Splash screen using JWindow cannot hidden!
The string "Getting devices list..." has gone but the window still here.
In Windows 7 there is no this problem. ( Using Oracle JRE 7u80 )
If is the jre version's problem? What difference with openjdk and Oracle JDK?

Yes, I know about this bug. I'll have some free time at night, so I'll try to fix such bugs.
About java differences: openjdk is opensource and has their own realisation of every library, so maybe it's openjdk issue. Oracle JDK is not opensource, and, actually, have their own realisation)
In Linux the openjdk and oracle jdk has the same bug
Try new release, please.
