It sounds like most, except the settings icon, issues that you're having are in regard to Firebase being configured differently then what the app expects.

For your issue regarding the "permission_denied" errors:
• Please refer to this: Firebase Security Rules
• I'm not 100% certain this is what is causing it, but this is a place to start. Just verify that your security rules are correct or enable all read and writes from anyone, just to test it.

Regarding your Auth question:
It seems as though you have the Facebook and Twitter authentication methods configured correctly on Firebase, though the app is not using the correct keys to connect to the services. What gave this away was the fb***REMOVED*** part of one of the errors. Going through the setup process of Facebook and Twitter will be required if you want to make these services work with the app. I didn't include it in build process since it isn't required.

Another note: You may also be getting errors when uploading, because the app is not correctly authenticated with Firebase. This may be an issue with how the app handles it, but seems like it would only occur if Twitter or Facebook is not configured.

the pictures and listings are getting uploaded just fine after I changed the security rules. I linked Facebook to firebase, waiting for twitter to accept my dev account, but the app's still crashing when tapping on Facebook auth.
The settings icon is not working and that kinda ticks me off :p

The only other frameworks that I use that require some amount of configuring is Fabric, OneSignal, and Sentry.

No. Twitter still supports signing in with their service, which is the only thing The 👋 uses.

Now this shows up in twitter...I dunno what to do. theres no place to put the callback URL (or is there) in the app code. I did put it on the firebase site.

Settings icon: I built from master and the settings button is working fine for me. What is happening for you?

Crashlytics: This service shows stack traces for crashes on devices that are out in the wild. Though, this is also very similar to Sentry. I like Crashlytics better.

Twitter: You need to add the appropriate callback URLs on your apps.twitter.com settings. This guide says to have it as such: twitterkit-CONSUMERKEY://

Settings: I keep on tapping but nothing happens. Nothing gets printed on the console too.
Which files can I replace from the master branch for the settings thing so that other working parts of the app don't get affected?

Settings button: Place a breakpoint at this location in the code and verify that the method is getting called, if it does, step through it to see what happens.
