Relative path for for assumeFilename not working

Hi all,
I am trying to set a relative path for assumeFilename
, but it does not work.
For example the .clang-format file is in the .vscode folder.
My current settings are:
"clang-format.style": "file",
"clang-format.assumeFilename": "${workspaceFolder}/.vscode/.clang-format"
Also tried using ${workspaceRoot}
to no avail.
An absolute path to the same file works!
My current vscode version is 1.85.1
Is a relative path for assumeFilename
supported?
Thanks in advance
this is a feature that im going to add hopefully in the next few hours
Oh for assumeFilename? I don't know how that option works there arent good docs. is it the same as stye
?
Thank you for working on this..
It is an old comment but I think what I was trying to do at the time was have a relative path to my .clang-format
file.
The file resides in "${workspaceFolder}/.vscode/.clang-format"
I think the way to do this is through assumeFilename ? Is there an alternative way?
you are suposed to put ur clang-format file in the "clang-format.style"
option like so "clang-format.style": "file:${workspaceFolder}/.clang-format",
with my changes or "clang-format.style": "file:/home/jesse/code/vscode-clang-format/tests/.clang-format",
for the extension without my changes
Ok then, your changes should solve my issue.. Thank you!
