Installation

Requires Node.js and Angular 5 cli

  • Clone the repository and run "npm install"
  • For live development, run "ng serve"
  • Use the development branch for commits. Master branch commits will automatically be deployed to Heroku if the Travis tests pass.

Notes

  • If the app doesn't work, it's probably due to the TimeZone API and Firebase running out of juice. Please wait a day or contact me.
  • The date/time management and data pulling/updating should definitely be handled server side, and only then passed to the client. Same with sending data from client to the database. Sadly, I don't have time to implement a proper backend REST Api server right now.
  • The app has not been tested on high resolution displays, only on 1080p. Probably looks quite small on higher resolutions.
