Image flickering when browsing channels

I just installed Libreelec based on Matrix, and Confluence 4.7.13 from repo. Am coming from Leia.
I'm opening a stream from my PVR, full screen all is fine. If I go back in the channel list while the stream is still playing, the image should be resized to a smaller thumbnail in right side in the screen.
However, it seems the resize no longer works and it just looks like a crop. The problem is also that the image is flickering aggressively.
I was thinking at trying older Confluence versions, but I don't see where to get them from.
I have almost the same setup on a Fire stick, Kodi Matrix + Confluence 4.7.13 and image is resized correctly.
Does it sound like it is an Libreelec issue?
Well I'm pretty sure it's not a skin problem.
