Replace VCL lines from trace with VCL?

Just an idea. What about slurping in the VCL and replacing the VCL line numbers with the actual VCL content?

Sounds good !
I would like to.
For now, I successfully get a "input" and "default" VCL from varnishd -d -f [file] -C.
But , I can't think of a better get to VCL than.
I'm thinking now..
