"download was interrupted" when downloading 14.1
Opened this issue · 8 comments
A week or so after successfully using xcinfo install
to download 14.1 RC, I was unable to install the release version of 14.1 on the same machine.
Unsuccessful attempts to remedy:
- Different WiFis (with different ISPs)
- Authenticate with/without SMS
- Run
xcinfo cleanup
- Uninstall/reinstall
xcinfo
- Clear
homebrew
cache
Solution was to manually download 14.1, bypassing xcinfo
.
Thanks!
Issue persists for Xcode 14.2
Please try xcinfo 1.0.3 I just released and comment to this issue if this is solved with the new version or not.
Authentication with Apple failed.
, tried to download 14.3 with 1.0.3.
@trispo same as above - I get this error when trying to download XCode 14.3 using xcinfo 1.0.3:
[6/7] Requesting download session
Authentication with Apple failed.
The second error message says that the authentication failed. Stupid question, but are you sure you've entered the correct credentials?
It's a fair question; I had already tried re-entering them, in case that was the issue. Though this error comes after getting the 2FA from Apple, which I think wouldn't fire if the credentials were wrong - right?
Right. Well, unfortunately, I have no idea what's going wrong.
Worked today for 14.2:
