Is flip test a general operation on pascal voc?

Hi xingyi, thanks for your amazing work.
I'm new to object detection and have made a few modifications based on your centernet with dla34 network. I found your performance on pascal voc is by default with the flip test augmentation during validation. Is it a general setting for pascal voc in detection community?
I found a few papers which had mAP of pascal voc, but I didn't see someone to mention whether to use flip test or not. In addition, they just make the single scale or multi scale test setting clear. If I want to present performance in a paper for comparison, do I need to point the flip test setting out, or directly compare the performance with others under the flip test setting by default?
