Loading a Crashed xtalopt.state File Does Not Load All Properties

It appears that some properties are overwritten because of Qt signals/slots.

When we update the GUI, we need to make sure the GUI doesn't get over-written
because of signals/slots.

This is fixed for the most part by c293088. But it should be re-opened if we find more issues in the future.
