Permanently show controls from Muse

Since some Update (I didn't keep track of that but right now I'm running 10.14.2) the ability to always show the Muse controls is gone.

Formerly:
Open Spotiy, Open Muse, Hide Muse, Click on the time icon in the Touch Bar to re-show Muse controls. These controls will now permanently stay open.

Now:
Only the Touch Bar control from the currently focused app is shown. Tapping the Muse Icon in Touch Bar doesn't do anything. I have to open Muse's Window on screen to see Muse's Touch Bar controls.
