Preference dialog is broken

Describe the bug
When opening the preferences for the first time after starting the application the preference window is empty.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start the application
  2. Open the preferences

Expected behavior
The expected behavior is that the three checkboxes are shown.

  • OS: macOS version 10.15
  • Version of the app: 4.1.1

If you click the General button, it shows the options.

Still a bug, but this works in the mean time.
