Pattern is not applied correctly

Describe the bug
A pattern with rectangle as a background color and any path should be repeated like in SVG view, but it seems to be repeated in some totally different way.

See this playground.
Expected behavior
I would have expected the PDF to look like so.
This is in accordance to the following SVG spec.
Desktop:
- OS: Windows 11
- Browser: chrome
- Version: 126.0.6478.61
