Feature Request - Allow multiple image uploads & background uploading

Currently users can only upload one image at a time. Users should be able to select multiple images and have them upload in the background, showing the user a preview of the image and progress of each upload - allowing the user to cancel if they wish.
Would also be nice to provide default title of the image which would be the name of the file being uploaded.
