Hi,
We've using knnsmooth for a while. It seems that the biorxiv paper has been online for around 2 years but the method is not published on peer-reviewed journal yet. Just wondering what's the status of the paper so we can correctly cite this method. Thanks!

Please execute me for a while, in fact, the method is well-known enough, though not in a formal journal. I think citing a biorxiv paper is okay.
