Possible to change font color on a character by character basis?

I have some a table where I display the table like "Min / Max". I would like to be able to change the font color of the slash and possibly the Min and Max values if they are in a certain range. I know this is normally done on a column basis but for my purposes I am having those values within the same column and especially if I just want to change the slash color there is no way for me to do so. Not sure if there would be an easy way to just add like [color:red]/[/color:red] or something.
