Red Alert Notifier
About
This is a small Gnome / Unity application to give you notifications about 'tzeva adom' (red alerts) from missiles in Israel to your desktop. This application is experimental and should not be treated as your only source of information regarding alerts in Israel. This application was created by Yuval tisf Nativ and Bar Hofesh.
Technical
To make sure the application works please install the following packages:
sudo apt-get install python-easygui python-tk python-appindicator
Please notice it currently has no error handling and we know of a lot of bugs in it. It's just a path application to address the lack of applications like it for the Linux desktop environment.
