App crashes during when device orientation change

I have installed this on my Google Pixel device and its crashing. Also have seen in my emulator that Toggling resolution on certain Android devices leads to inconsistant screen size.

Do you have any plan to fix these issue? or guide me how you are rendering the camera screen during orientation?

Also as suggestion, check this git page, where the coder implemented OpenGL ES rendering and during 3d rendering it doesnt crash and very efficient:
