what extent can one expect the possibility of the appearance of such a keyword as union from the C language?

It requires somebody willing to do it to appear, to propose good syntax (which will not clash with other features much and fit well) and implement it (could involve also refactoring of the current code a bit, as I don't think this will be particularly trivial to add) and write some tests, etc.

I personally find this rather rare use case, so for me this is low priority, judging how I'm unable to work even on higher priority sjasmplus stuff recently, don't expect me doing this in any predictable time frame.

If other users reading this found it, because they were missing the feature, please comment or put reaction on the OP, so I have some idea how "rare" the use case is. :)
