This is an idea I have been thinking about for some time (inspired in Mason).

The menu on the right will allow you to change the content displayed in the main menu. (The marketplace will be covered in more detail in another issue).

Feedback and suggestions are more than welcome! I'll get to it when I have some free time in a few weeks.

Marketplace sounds like a really cool idea!

I really like the current UI as well. Maybe we could allow the user to decide what elements they want to be present? Or if it's too complicated, we could have a few presets. For example, a 'simple' preset that shows the current UI where all you see is a list, a 'searchable' preset that is the list plus a search box like telescope, and then a 'full' or 'detailed' preset for the example your showing here.

Or! the menu on the left in your screenshot could be shown/hidden via an api method and a default keybind.
