Alternatives

In this issue we collect a list of alternatives and their disadvantages.

• VSCode Remote

  • requires a lot of ram (see Raspberry Pi discussion)
  • is not available for very slow systems (see vscode remote issue)

• PyCharm

  • only available in payed Pro version
  • no choosing of the IDE

• plain rsync

  • no auto sync while editing

I just stumbled upon RealSync which seems to have the same intensions as LiveSync. Looks quite mature.
