Question: Does AX210 still present the same issues as other Intel cards?

Hey Zearp,

Found this the other day and was curious if this card, also being an Intel, has the same effect as others in losing some iCloud functionality. The linked article doesn't mention it. Have you checked this before? Perhaps the one that works with NGFF can be used in the same way the old Broadcom can in m.2 slot.

All NUC8BEx models have a soldered on Intel wifi card that works fine in Sonoma. You can desolder it a put in a different device there, it is a normal m.2 connection just no socket. I wouldn't add another Intel card in the m.2 as Broadcom is no longer supported unless you stick on Ventura or older or use OCLP and weaken security and lose FDE.

There was a repo with a guide on how to desolder and put something else in tis place but it seems have been deleted and I forgot to fork it.
