Unable to activate the add-on

When trying to activate the add-on I get this error message:

I use blender 2.74 on a Windows 8.1 pc.

see this: #21 .. same issue, get a newer version of 2.74 or release candidates of 2.75

simply having ' 2.74 ' isn't enough. If you get that error it means the things my addon is looking for aren't present in your 2.74 binary executable. Upgrade fixes this.
